Kamanga appointed BFW assist coach

Be Forward Wanderers have appointed their former defender, Allan Kamanga, as Coach Bob Mpinganjira’s assistant.

Wanderers have been without an assistant trainer since Mpinganjira was promoted to the hot seat to replace veteran Yasin Osman who is now Technical Director.

Kamanga also deputises Team Manager, Steve Madeira.

It was earlier reported that the Nomads had settled for Bob’s younger brother, Albert, as assistant coach, but it later turned out that stakeholders did not agree on the move.

Albert remains Coach for Wanderers Reserve in the Chitetezo Mbaula Southern Region Football Association League Premier Division.

Wanderers General Secretary, Mike Butao, says they preferred Kamanga for the post because of his vast experience with the club and the national team
