When suspect was arrested, he was charged with defilement and in court, he pleaded guilty to it.
During mitigation, the 88yr old convict shocked the court when he voluntaliry said that he started sleeping with the girl in February this year. He later branded his genitals as ‘satanic’ as they have landed him into the current mess.
Passing sentence, his worship Kingsley Buleya expressed worry on the increase of defilement cases in the area. Magistrate Buleya was at pains to observe that grannies are departing from their core duty of teaching young children morals of life and protection to that of being monsters.
